With 11 courts, nine lit for night play, tennis enthusiasts at whatever level are in good hands at Carmel. The Tennis Center, extending over 8,000 square feet, contains locker rooms, a tennis lounge, multiple viewing decks and a Pro Shop stocked with all the latest rackets and gear. The Pro Shop also offers racket stringing, re-gripping and video analysis.

Carmel has an award winning tennis program, receiving the Tennis Facility of the Year from the USTA NC in 2004 and the Pride of the South designation from the USPTA in 2008.

In addition to the outstanding facilities, the staff of USPTA certified professionals is waiting to take your game to the next level by giving members the “advantage” of developed one-on-one skill training. The Junior Program, one of the largest in the Southeast, has activities and clinics for every level from beginner to competitive play development. Tennis activities for the entire family include: Women’s Tennis Association Playdays, Men’s Leagues, Mixed Doubles Play, Parent-Child Round Robins, Junior Ladders and Men’s Flex League.

Carmel Tennis also hosts many tennis social events throughout the season to elevate your game, build camaraderie and celebrate pro level tennis..
